Surya Kumar Yadav was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, on September 14, 1990. He's 6 feet tall. His full name is Surya Kumar Yadav Jee.

He played for the BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited) squad as well as teams in Mumbai such as Shivaji Park Gymkhana Club and Dadar Union Club. He made his debut for the Mumbai team the same year, scoring 73 runs.
The next year, he competed in the Dalip Trophy and achieved his first notable 100. He had 4818 runs, 12 hundreds, and 12 half-centuries as of December 2019. SKY just struck 1026 runs in 2022 T20Is, bringing his total to 1270 runs in 39 innings at an average of 42.33 and a strike rate of 179.63.

On July 18, 2021, he made his international debut for India by hitting a long, leg-side six.
On July 21, 2021, Yadav scored his maiden ODI fifty in the same series. In November, he was added to the Test squad against New Zealand. Suryakumar Yadav scored his maiden T20I century against England, scoring 117 off 55 balls.
He is the 5th player to record a century in T20I and only the 2nd to reach the mark, batting 4th or lower. In October 2022, he became the fastest batsman to score 1000 runs in Twenty20 cricket, reaching the mark in 573 balls against South Africa.
IPL Career
